serene who trains us is qte frenly. the other 2 newbies r v nice n frenly too. siew tzi n teresa. both sim students i think. having hols.

n erm leonard whom i m attached to (the way they put it) showed me ard n taught me lotsa stuff. yepp. but he is quitting soon coz hes starting sch in NTU! haha. as u can tell, we were chatting instead of doing much work. but chatting is not allowed on the sales floor, as warned by the global manager. gosh.

the other guy is qte nice oso (but i derno is hes wei or wayne) the cool cool kinda. lols. but i must really kowtow to them for their product knowledge. oh i wanna b a packer like guorong, looks like an easier job sia...

i even brought home the LV bible to read. lols. they're gonna test me u know. hmmm. -mug-

Han's bbq was so random. Haha. It was to celebrate one of her student's bday. Yet she invited a hell lot of her own frens just for a bbq on our own. It was a total random group of ppl... lemme try to name the ppl... me mad zk chris dan pj xiufang peiling yvonne charmaine jay sally(sarah?) boqi shazah raymond georgia etc etc etc. dun ask me where they came from. i derno. hahas.

that day, we went early to prepare the food n stuff, n typically, we got too mush food leftover. wasted sia. Somemore I din get to eat the sambal stingray. Hais. Haha. But I was being a lazy pig, so I din do much of the bbq job. Paiseh.

han's frens were playing in the swimming pool... they tried to pull dan into the wat... they threw his slippers into the pool, but he still refused to get wet... in the end they dragged him in. lols. But bad news, we kena complained from security lar. Bet han got screwed beeg time by her mum especially. Hais. So sorry man. We're too noisy... hope u're ok...

ohhh we played with sparklers after the kids left. So fun. Anw stoopid zk was hogging the sparklers n making us queue for them. So I sneakily stole the whole box while he was happily distributing stingy-ly. Hahas. anw, we had lotsa leftover sparklers, so we started poking them into the leftover bananas n lighting them... so pretty... haha... oh we even poked marshmallows thru sparklers, and there we had our very own GLOWING marshmallow. *applause* btw, we got really bored after we cleared up, we started play SNAP. First time playing, but I m not too bad at it =P i NEARLY won. Haha. I was just 2 cards away from completing the whole set.

after bbq, I cab home with dan n xiufang, i bathed, den cab back again to yishun safra to watch the 3rd / 4th placing match! =) we slacked on the stairs n watched. So happy germany won! Yays!~

Den we went macs to stone till morning.. the walk there was kinda creepy thou... after stoning, I took bus back with han n dan. Dan missed his stop despite me waking him up in time -_- anw, I heard from pj that chris nearly forgot to get off the train too. Lols. I think we were all too shagged by then.

btw, I lost my hp sock. The orange colourful one that I loved. Hais. must b fated sia. so sad.

Worldcup Finals

We went to catch worldcup finals at Indochine (wisma). Qte a cool place. The atmosphere was so... WORLDCUP! Hahas. We had lotsa crazie Italian fans n a biased DJ. Lols. There was this really irritating Italian fan that kept standing up. Chris (ho) kept shouting for him to sit down, I was so afraid that they made end up fighting. *hum* lols.

France scored first. Made me qte happy. Haha. But they drew n even lost to italy eventually thru penalty shoot out. Hais. btw, I find zidane’s ‘header’ qte stupid. Kena red carded for that. Not smth that u wanna end ur last worldcup with. dumb. *shakes head*

on the roads, the Italian fans were so high! The cars were sounding their horns, the fans cheering n waving jerseys n Italian flags... haha... n den I saw this police car drove by. I concluded that they look sad n the reason must b that they were supporting the FRANCE. Wads the best evidence for that? Notice the police car carries this light siren thingy on top that resembles the france flag? Red-white-blue. Idea? See the link? Hahas.

den we headed to Newton circus to grab a bite. Chris (ho) gave us a lift there. He made a second trip lar. how nice? And he even bothered to bring out the cumbersome umbrella to shelter me n pj. I really appreciated that thou I acted cool n ran off in the drizzling rain. Lols. Guys: take note of learning pt there. Wahahaha...

btw, the Indian rojak / roti john / mee goreng were so lousy n expensive. I think they tried to cheat our money sia. dun ever go there. I think the only reason they open earlier than the rest is coz so they they can at least get some business, when other stalls are open, they'll prob b the least patronised stall! Gosh.

den we ended up going to chris (lim)'s place, coz han wanted to slp, xiufang needed to wait for keys, n pj wanted to go, so I went with them. No place to slp sia. using com n watching farnie U tubes all the way. Chris showed me so many farnie clips. Haha.

we had ting tai fung for brunch! Nice xiao long baos! And nice pai gu mian. I had craving for them. Hees.

n then theres food fest at taka! haha... who can resist food when theres a wide spread of food in front of u? not to mention just the taka foodcourt alone has nice snacks alr. so we just pigged out!!! ^(oo)^

ohhh this is a must-try recommendation. its some kinda vietnamese springroll with shrimp n mango fillings. *yum*

btw, we saw this really cute n huge mascot at the food fair. i was so tempted to punch it. lols. there were 2 of them actually n i think they cant walk side by side, they will just bang into each other n just fall n roll on the ground or smth. hahas.

oh yar, back to the job... wz was applying for this job, n she sent in my resume for me... i totally din know wad job this was, while she kinda know its in taka. while we tot its in taka dept store, we searched the whole place but cuden find the counter we're supposed to go. in the end, to our surprise, it was at the LV BOUTIQUE. omg.

interview sounds scary. feels scary. anw, i got a call while i was at the Stadium saying that i was accepted for the job. totally unexpected. wads more? zhen din get the job thou i tot there were 4 vacancies. hais. now i'm in a dilemma. shud i accept? its a stressful n strict environment. but it sounds like a gd learning experience. mummy thinks i shud. the pay is qte reasonable. how?

zhen is not joining union camp with me. n she's prob not staying hostel with me thanks to her dad. ='(

the ice-cream(s) that kept me happy, since we only had McChicken or kuaytiao or hokkien mee for dinner... i had oreo blizzard from orangejulia + turkish ice-cream + blueberry ice-cream from the frenly uncle (i din take a photo).

they played well, they just lack that lil bit of luck... n too bad the defence screwed up towards the v end... sighs...

anw, we met ccc n jl at ms. ccc was kinda blind to have almost missed us. haha. i forgot wad else i was supposed to blog. so that'll b all. =)

anw, we met up to watch superman returns which is kinda cool, so do go n catch it. in any case, superman sooooo yandao. hahas.

den we went for dinner at thai express. its my first time at thai express. call me suaku or wadeva. i din know they had that many non-spicy dishes. thank god.

i got Phat Thai Talay which is supposedly the most famous thai fried noodle, which has a sweet, sour, spicy n nutty taste... its v nice n not really spicy =)

yingit ordered some curry that tasted kind swt n nice. heh. but she looked as thou she was eating just plain rice. poor thing. lols.

ohh we're supposed to b shopping for her fren's present, n in the end we bot lotsa earrings for ourselves. crap. haha.

i just had rashes, n i dun really dare to wear dangling earrings which i suspect irritates my skin at times. oh i think i m allergic to sweat?! my doc told me once n i din really believe. i shud go for some allergy test... any recommendation? hahas.

but nevertheless, there r lotsa things n people who made my day. when i was reaching my breaking pt at abt 7+. literally on the verge of crying alr. i totally heck-cared all other instructions, called zx n insisted that i wanna go heeren site for some good music. i took a walk down to heeren's site n i sat down right in front of the band n just listened. i tell u this band - 52nd street - they are DAMN good. their music was therapatic. i felt so good after listening. u can go ask ben la. i was feeling damn shitified when i just reached, but really re-charged after their songs. wonder where else they perform normally...

tokking abt good bands... nigel's band came to perform... apparently i recognised this guy who performed once rj n he rmbs me in hockey... lolx... its scary how strangers in sch knows abt each other.. oh well, their band is good, plus if i'm not wrong, they made it qte far in sch of rock. but sadly, i cud only listen to 2 or 3 songs, before i was deployed to another site alr.

n btw, i love the company of the afua volunteers... so fun... ppl like fenni, pam, weili, ben, mervyl, geraldine, terrence, etc... really nice working with them... but i wonder if i'll even get to see them again.. they're mainly from smu.. =) oh zx was asking me to join afua... hmmm... i told him to rope me in when afua needs help. haha. who wanna join me?

after orchardjam, i zao qte early... din stay back to count money n stuff.. paiseh... i went to join han mad zk n cm at party world @ yishun safra to sing ktv. =) den i stayed over at mad's hse n we woke up after 12 noon despite my alarm clock that rang at 9am? hahas. den we went for lunch at yoshi.

fyi, crystal jade at northpt has closed down alr. so sad.

watching italy-ukraine match now. somehow its a lil sian. not as interesting. han pig is slping away now. btw, my mum + dad + bro r kinda f-ed up with me now. mum not happy with me for not reporting my whereabout, dad against me staying out, n bro against me bringing frens home to watch match. so wad these ppl expect me to do man? just lock myself at home every nite n watch worldcup alone in silence?

i'm at my house n i'm not allowed to shout. imagine i feel bad enuf asking my frens over n requesting for them to keep quiet. i fine with all the not shouting at home n wadevanot. but den let me hang out with my frens n enjoy for the last few matches of wc. u see me being this 'rebellious' (if thats wad u think) once in 4 yrs? is this too much to take?

i derno in which aspect do i appear like a 3-yr-old kid. do i look like i cant take care of myself? for god sake, u guys know which r the ppl i hang out with. i mean dun u feel even safer when i bring them home. u get to see wad kinda frens i hangout with, n i'll at home, rite under ur v nose.

i dun understand. pardon me, i cant empathise. give me options. not option. at least not the option of me watching alone, at home, in dead silence. if its the noise level, c'mon, it soccer, its worldcup. if u need silence, freaking hell, let me out.

and mayb they jus dun pay attention to wad i tell them. i've been out doing volunteer work till as late as 11pm for the last fri sat sun, today, and will be for the next 2 days. so naturally i'll b out at the v least for the first match of the day. fyi, i do meaningful work lor. i dun need u ppl to appreciate wad i'm doing, afterall its not for u that i m doing volunteer work.

but cant u understand that i m not just staying out of the house for the sake of wanting to get out of the house. u get wad i mean? 1. i m doing smth MEANINGFUL. 2. i really wanna watch wc, n ENJOY watching it, tgt with my pals. 3. i'll by all means stay at home to watch, provided my FRENS can come n join me, n cheer alongside with me (or against for that matter).

is it THAT difficult? m i too hard to please or wad? i admit i can be qte rebellious, but i believe i'm not THAT rebellious. gawd. kill me.
