anw i stopped dead in my tracks. inclusive of the kinda brainless woman who was merely courting death n jeopardising others, everyone just stood there dumbfounded. den i saw this angmoh guy in his forties who walked onto the road to help the motorist get his bike up again n checked if he was okayy.

i was rather disappointed by the singaporeans actually. they lack the initiative to render a helping hand. so much for being a courteous n graceful society. it wasnt even as if the guy was seriously injured that u require proper first aid skills to help him - it was a gesture as easy as just helping him lift his bike up n asking "Are u ok?". it isnt too much to ask for rite?

anw, went for a mini shopping spree with mummy. and i got myself a new set of bedsheets n quilt cover. it was on offer, blue n nice. lolx!~ intially my mummy wanted to buy me a new handphone, but i din find a nice one within budget. so suan le. mummy say we go get after my As. den i also bot a cute little water bottle. its like purple with a pink n a green rabbit. damn cute. and damn gay. but who cares?btw, my mummy picked that among the 2 i chose. heh. so my mum is almost as kiampah as me? haha.

this is not relevant, but yarrr... i ate a slice of bah gwa mummy bot. n i felt super guitly. as if ytd's buffet was not fattening enough. -shucks-

the part abt the kbox like place. i met a whole of ppl i dunno except han (which was very weird). its like gurl who was supposedly very mean or smth got bullied by us or smth. i cant really rmb. i think i was the one initially kena bullied. den the rest somehow helped me n turned against her. and i supposedly had know 2 of the gang for very long alr. anw, i said smth that trigger that bad gurl. and she walked towards me n i backed to an open window. den she jus JUMPED OUT n commited sucide in anger. i was damn blardy shocked la. n the police were interogating me... i was jus dragging time, coz i feel guilty somehow thou all i did was to gek her ie. spite her. walau ehh. i cuden wake up from my dream la. damn scary. my mum said she tried to wake me up me a zillion times alr. i only manage to wake up eventually while i was contemplating to tell the truth abt wad happened n y she had committed sucide. *EeekS*

Get the idea? my family went to eat damn good food at Takashimaya! It was a buffet styled dinner. If u have heard of it, the place is the five-star PARISS International Seafood Buffet Restaurant. the ambience was great. the food was delicious. the service was excellent also. i think i will run out of superslatives just describing their FOOD alone.

Just briefly mention some stuff they have in full continuous supply... at one section alone, there were lotsa nice sushi, seafood snacks, goose liver paste, abalone, sashimi, steamed lobster, crayfish, prawns, crab, some kiampah looking spanner crab, etc etc etc. erm, according to the rest, their oysters were really big n fresh (i personally dun really like fresh oysters).

There was oso another section with all the lamb chop, pork chop, and the wadeva-chops u can probably name. and all the baked food. and fried food. erm.. the ebi was very nice.. and grilled salmon n drumlets were very shiok. there was oso the chinese food section, with some dimsum such as sharkfin dumplings, siewmai, etc. and oso lotsa nice dishes such as chilli crab, black pepper crab, peking duck roll (or look alike), some mushroom & vege thingey which tasted really good, etc etc etc. (if u kinda realised, i haf my reasons for using that many "etc".)

and yar the soup section. got like 4 types or smth. i only took the sharkfin soup which was pretty nice. but seriously i took only one small bowl. there were just simply too much good food n hardly any space to spare in my already bulging tummy. theres was the pick-ur-stuff-and-they-cook-for-you section, which i cuden be bothered with coz the rest was alr overwhelming enough.

OH yes! the dessert. my goodness la. the cakes were chao nice. u'll b spoilt for choice. i cuden even finish trying half of them. got some fruits, but they never skin the kiwi! and they dun have strawberry / bananas... u'll noe why i want those soon... they had this small fountain of hot melted chocolate for u to dip the fruits in. i had lotsa grapes n marshmellows thickly coated with choc. lolx!~ i feel so xing fu eating that.

and did i mention at least 20 over types of coffee and tea alone. i had fruit punch anw. they had almost all of the normal drinks (fizzy drinks/juice). we din drink alcohol coz i think that one must pay extra. lolx!~ pls the bill was qte a bomb alr. at least i think so. not sure how the payer feels. but oh well... total bill was nearly 300 bucks. its abt $43 per adult and $23 per child exclusive of other charges. bcoz we cant help it that my mum's bday falls on a friday, so nvm lar, as long as she enjoyed the meal, den its worth it alr. =)

in addition, i shared a bottle of D.O.M with james - my 2nd gor - for my mummy. thats like 50 bux alr. thou we shared, but he went for reservice. so i paid first, and hopefully he returns me the monehhh. errrr... he is a little giamsiap (erm, "stingy" sounds too terrible rite?) *shhhhh* lolx!~

anw the water meter was speeding like hell. scary eh. so i took a spanner or wadeva u call that to turn off the main tap outside the house. at first i cuden close tight enough so the water was still gushing thou the meter slowed down. den i went to find the Estate Maintance Hotline or some shit. called and they got some plumber to come n assist me. he took blardy long. so meanwhile i went to try my luck at the main tap again. eventually i manage to turn it off completely. den the plumber called to ask wads the prob n if i wanna repair. he quoted 25 bux when i told him the prob. so i guess it was ok la, din hafta wait for my dad to come home after work.

finally the plumber came abt 10 to 15 mins after he called, n fixed the damn pipe for my toilet. it was like damn easy la, i cud have easily done it myself. oh damnit. but nvm at least it was only 25 bux, n considering that i kinda single-handed settled the whole incident myself (of coz with a little help from my kind neighbour who was helpful by tying a cloth to the pipe, but din help much). i was qte proud la.*smirks* thou my stingy father insist that 25 bux is not worth it. but he cant blame me, coz he din even pick up his fone when i called for help. see?

rite.. this was the day i got my beloved ipod nano. the chio chic n white little thing. yeppp. erm that very day itself, i was damn kiasu, so i went down to town to get my nano a silicon case aka condom, so that i will not scratch it ^____^ i got the white one to match my chio white nano. pretty. perfect. oh did i mention i met up with katt? yeppp... erm, we went shopping, its like shun bian since we wont be free on other days to shop anytime soon - i got As + she got projects/assessments. so we went shopping, i bot a surfbay white skirt for myself. and a forever 21 destroyed denim skirt for her as a very very early bday present coz she really love it. its like 48 buckeroos (that term which i saw on jac's blog is jus so farnie n cute). lolx!~ Erm, den we went to eat at Scotts n later on more shopping n i got part of ys' bday present. eventually we ended up at coffee club, slacked ard, drank some nice sweet mango tango freeze, and checked out my newly unpacked nano. =) spent the nite uploading songs n exploring my new gadget. *yawns*

this day was spent studying at yishun BK with zhen. qte nice lar. saw a lot of AJ n YJ ppl thou. anw, we saw some rj frens n oso han with her frens there. erm, den we supposedly had dinner together (end up zhen left early n han kinda watched me eat). sian diao. had to treat han to drink even. hmmm. oh den i went to scout for pouch for my nano =) my mum insisted getting smth with a strap so that i can hang it on me all the time n not lose my nano. so i mian qiang got some really kawaii jacket pouch with a wrist strap. den han kope my pink furry hp pouch =(

firstly: HAPPY BIRTHDAY YINGIT!!! passed her the present in the morning =) had lunch and mugged a bit of econs in sch with zhen n colin later on. nothing much. oh den i did some handicraft work to the jacket pouch for my nano. damn cuteee lor. ehh my handicraft is qte gd. lolx!~ must show u guys the pouch someday!

den ccc n i went canteen to get some food. meanwhile, econs lect has started. (our bags r still in the LT btw) so yar, we sneaked back in like half an hour late - wasnt too successful coz our seats were right in the middle n 3rd row from the front somemore. guess wad? cj next to me was msging n jes was doing her own work. yeppp. so ccc n i decided to leave the LT with our bags, b4 we even warmed our seats. lolx!~

studied with ys n zhen. we occupied an empty 7th floor classrm, windy n comfortable. qte nice lar. not very very productive, but much better than previously. i m beginning to gain back my momentum. hopefullly its not too late still. yeppp, jiayou! jiayou!! jiayou!!!

after mugging, ys n i headed to mos for 2nd short mugging session, coz she was craving for butterfly prawns, which we used to eat damn a lot when we mugged for O levels at amk mos. we had milk tea as usual and left later for proper dinner.

we went swensens for a scrumptious dinner. we had the heavenly salmon baked rice! followed by the not bad fries... and then comes the yummelicious the apple crumble! the baked rice had really nice sauce, salmon was fresh, salty, tender and juicy and the rice was just nice. while the apple crumble was sizzling-ly attractive, the combi of cold vanilla ice-cream, tasty crumble and luke-warm caramel n milk topping was simply aphrodisiac! my goodness!!! totally irresistable. we got so high n happy that we started laughing to ourselves hysterically. lolx!~ we even gave them tips. in the end we spent 15 bux on the swensens' meal alone. dun ask how much i haf spent on food today.

ys bot a nice top at fox. wish i had her figure man. y is she still complaining? anw, den we bot mood-rings for each other to mark the start of our mugging season. its basically for fun n to remind ourselves to mug. sounds crappy but i think it works to a certain extent. so yeppp.

i oso bot a really kiampah bag. its a tote-cum-sling-bag (which everway u wanna carry it). erm, it belongs to the midnight-before-christmas-or-smth-similar-but-i-cant-rmb series. yepp. black n white in colour. i tot its really cute so i bot it. i noe its kinda kiampah, but try not to pah me when u see me with it. lolx!~ ys was qte encouraging: "u like it, jus buy it. who cares if its kiampah?" heh... here comes cindy n her kiampah bag!

but anyhows, the class met up for class lunch after the ceremony. i hear some of them hid in ri library n got caught, so ended up doing some simple cip there. thats besides the pt, we had class lunch at DING TAI FENG. u must b thinking we're either mad or we just feel like burning money. but no, we ate damn nice food, were damn full, and paid very little. in fact we got some free side dishes even. yepp. thumbs up for the xiaolongbaos and the dandan mian (which dusen look nice but tastes superb!) nice food. nice place. nice ppl. felt great! btw, i was a little trigger-happy! haha. photos below (half of today's photos were not taken by me thou)...

jus take a look at today's ST report on the benjamin koh and nicholas lim blogging case lar... who dares to say anything now? gosh.. everything is restricted and prohibited by law... damn sian diao... the freedom of speech vs the delicate fabric of our multi-cultural society... with the openess of society, can we not even tolerate this little freedom of speech? is the consequences really that grave? its common among frens of varying races/religions to jack each other and larf it off... so why cant we take a more liberal approach to this kinda blogging issue? it cant be serious rite? i just dont understand... is limited freedom of expression still freedom of expression?

the current trend is that more bloggers are somehow trying to speak/blog in politically correct terms. (some even resorted to putting disclaimers, which i find ineffective anw, it seems that they can somehow still find some law and tell you u've commited some offence under that act.) its getting in a certain way fake. people are beginning to NOT speak their mind, making blogging qte a pointless thing... i mean politically correct stuff shud be encouraged, but is this really wad the author meant to express? probably not... consider this other case: wad if someone tries to get abt the law, by insinuating something bad/wrong/discriminating, but phrasing it in a politically correct fashion. wad can u do to him or her?

As long as wadeva said or published has no significant impact on creating potential social unrest, perhaps we should just close an eye to it... clamming down on these bloggers no doubt does reflect our emphasis on importance of racial / religious harmony, however, at the same time it exposes the undeniable fact of our society low tolerance and liberalisation... u still call this a freedom? i beg to differ...

we had lunch with ms lee... she is chao friendly n very nice =) i think i'll miss her badly. heh... we heard someone in promos got 74/75 for chem. how shocking is that. but on the other hand, got 1-digit scorer oso lar... mayb the paper this time round is much easier... in any case, this batch is crazie! chao smart lor... *shakes head*

another thing i feel like venting on... but hmmm... aiyah no pt venting lah... i scold until i qte sick liao... i give up on the nonsense ppl alr... why bother? lolx!~ anw this morning was qte farnie... they were gossiping like mad.. but all dun wanna lemme noe.. little did they know that i got first-hand info damn long ago... lol... i hafta say they r damn out-dated lor... wahahaha... kk, cannot larf too much, later they dun share gossip with me, which they never ever did somehow... but its okayyy, no worries, i have my sources... haha..

anw, jus finished packaging feng's present. its damn belated, but i hope she likes it anw... i spent like 3 hrs on it, thats if u minus the shopping bit... -nods-

oh i feel qte good today, coz i was helping peng with his sch work.. and it feels good to b able to help someone.. coz it means 2 things: 1) someone get to benefit from ur help 2) i kinda know my work (in order to be of any help). Coincidentally, i was helping some other frens with maths n chem respectively.. hmmm it feels great! =)

Got treated to yoshinoya today! i had really nice beef bowl wif extra beef sauce... woohh.. damn nice!!! wads with me n beef nowadays? heh... heck! errr... i ate cheesesticks from BK too! wahahaha... fattening day!!!~

btw, i saw ah mad today at BK... erm, more like she n her mum dropped by to say hi coz she was in the vicinity... haven seen her mummy for so long, but i can still recognise her!!! as pretty as ever... din noe my selective memory still works! lolx!~ oh btw, she said i "bu shi hen pang" which means qte "pang" lar... dotx. haha... shucks, y m i laughing at myself? time to shed some fats! (but u guys noe i work like NATO =)

this morning i woke up a bit late... BUT i wasnt late in meeting mad.. lolx!~ kiasu me went to get some phys notes n hc int'l trade notes from mad... i realised some of the phy notes are from the step-by-step.. shhhh... haha... but its better than step-by-step.. plus i m sharing with wz anw.. yeppp...

putting the kiasu-chao-mugger me aside.. we went to ramenten a jubilee for lunch... their beef teriyaki ramen was totemo oishii desuyo... we gulp down all the ramen + soup thou we were qte full alr... heh... den we had this dessert called Peach Fantasia... its was so ultra sweet n sinful, but so *yummlicious* and we cuden resist thou it was like 7 bucks! its looks like peach on the outside, inside it's peach flavoured ice-cream/sorbet inside... with a rocher as the core... lolx!~ damn interesting... shall show u guys pics when she send me! =)

den we collected the notes from the photocopying shop n took mrt... (so sad ah mad not going home..) anw, i dropped at yishun to go trim eyebrows n meet my gor... the first thing he asked regarding my results was: did u pass everything? lolx!~ thank god, i did! haha. den he drove me home *yay* oh and i think i managed to impress him with my minimal amt of econs knowledge, but i dunno whether he understood thou... heh... n i complained abt my other bro to him... wahahaha... *ultra evil grin*
